Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a part-time position with a 25-hour schedule, working with middle school students in Fairfield, CT.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing. This will include developing and implementing individualized education plans, collaborating with colleagues to ensure comprehensive support, and maintaining accurate records of student progress.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a valid Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher credential/license or be in the process of obtaining one in the state of practice. A minimum of one year of verifiable experience as a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher within the last three years is also required.
