Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Operations Supervisor to join our team at Tex-Star Service. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for providing direct supervision and coordination for plant project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of projects and plans supporting the organization's long-term plant strategy
  • Supervise day-to-day activities and project progress, establish administrative guidance on project execution, and ensure compliance with predetermined project deliverables
  • Ensure adherence to project budgets and provide updates on monthly variance reports
  • Identify and course-correct project issues and risks, and assist in the development of response plans to resolve
  • Supervise staff to ensure the organization's plant activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently, and according to relevant regulations, laws, and standards

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of progressive plant experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • May have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related industry, or advanced training in the field
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD/Microstation drafting software
  • May have working knowledge of Geographic Information Systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs
  • Own transportation, mileage driven on the job will be reimbursed
  • May have 1 or more years of personnel and functional leadership experience and/or project management experience
