Clinical Assessment Specialist

The Diagnostician is a critical member of our clinical team at FCC Behavioral Health, responsible for providing comprehensive assessments and developing individualized recovery care plans for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough diagnostic interviews and assessments to identify client needs and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with the clinical team to assign clients to appropriate treatment services and ensure timely completion of eligibility determinations
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the DSM and diagnostic criteria sets for substance use and mental health disorders
- Participate in clinical staffing and provide written reports to relevant parties as needed
- Stay up-to-date with professional competencies through training and educational activities
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related field (for MH Programs)
- Fully licensed clinical social worker or fully licensed professional counselor in the State of Missouri (for SUD Programs)
- At least one year of experience in treating persons with substance use disorders
- Department of Mental Health's criteria for a qualified mental health professional
