Position Overview:
The Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service by managing incoming and outgoing calls to assist customers in achieving their business objectives and enhancing their service experience. A comprehensive understanding of our products, frequently asked questions, and operational procedures is essential. The representative is expected to provide prompt, courteous, and effective assistance across all service offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to calls and investigate inquiries related to benefits and enrollment.
  • Document and update databases, including network changes and customer relationship management records.
  • Offer information to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Reproduce copies of relevant correspondence as needed.
  • Handle additional tasks such as processing changes, updating addresses, replacing ID cards, and managing referral and authorization inquiries.
  • Exhibit consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Preferred experience includes six (6) months in call center, customer service, insurance, or healthcare settings.
  • A combination of education, training, or experience that demonstrates the ability to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Capability to read, understand, and articulate benefits clearly and professionally.
  • Proficient in PC applications, including MS Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes.
  • Able to compose clear and concise notes.
  • Commitment to ongoing skill development through training programs.
  • Ability to successfully complete skills assessments during the hiring process.
