Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our team at Dairy Farmers of America. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of products throughout our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shipping and Receiving: Assist in the receipt and processing of incoming shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery to our production areas.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, rotating stock to ensure first-in, first-out (FIFO) compliance and minimizing waste.
  • Warehouse Organization: Organize and maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Quality Control: Assist in the inspection and sampling of products, ensuring compliance with all quality and regulatory standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations and efficient product flow.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or material handling environment.
  • Valid forklift certification and ability to operate a variety of warehouse equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
