San Antonio College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty Instructor to teach Law Enforcement courses at our institution. As a professional educator, you will have the primary responsibility of fulfilling the District mission of providing a quality education for all students attending the colleges.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Law Enforcement classes to students
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals
To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of an associate degree in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, or a related field. Additionally, you must have five years of experience as a Law Enforcement Officer and three years of experience teaching Law Enforcement classes.
Preferred QualificationsWe prefer candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, or a related field, or higher. Teaching experience at a Law Enforcement Academy is also preferred.
Required Licenses and CertificationsYou must have a Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Peace Officer license or be a Retired Peace Officer. Additionally, you must have TCOLE Basic Peace Officer Instructor and Proficiency.
