Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Technician to join our team. As a BIM Technician, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, validating, and preparing detailed 2D and 3D construction drawings to meet project expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create detailed 2D and 3D construction drawings
  • Modify and validate drawings to meet project requirements
  • Prepare drawings for manufacturing and field installation
  • Collaborate with Operations team and BIM support lead to ensure efficient and effective detailing and installation practices
  • Review and evaluate VDC deliverables
  • Manage workflow and provide feedback to BIM lead and Supervisor
  • Complete record drawings at the end of the project
  • Work on various construction projects, including commercial, mission critical, healthcare, industrial, and high rise
  • Identify and communicate potential installation clashes with other trades
  • Read and understand submittals for physical equipment sizing and/or layout during modeling

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong BIM software experience or commercial field electrical experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
