We are currently seeking a full-time Sales Consultant for our Anchorage location. The ideal candidate will possess experience in fine jewelry or watch sales, or have a background in luxury retail.
At Ben Bridge, our Sales Consultants are dynamic individuals dedicated to crafting unforgettable experiences for our clients. They are proactive, passionate about jewelry, and excel in building enduring relationships. Our team members thrive both independently and within a close-knit group, showcasing merchandise with enthusiasm and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- Build genuine relationships with customers by understanding their needs, offering tailored product suggestions, and creating memorable shopping experiences.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of our products, articulating their features and benefits effectively to customers.
- Engage with both existing and prospective clients, maintaining accurate customer information through company-supported technology.
- Examine and clean customers' jewelry, providing consultations on repairs for both jewelry and timepieces.
- Results-oriented and motivated by sales success.
- Positive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented, consistently demonstrating company values.
- Dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to integrity.
- Flexible availability, including holidays.
- Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is required.
- Bilingual skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of retail sales experience, or a combination of 3+ years in customer service and relevant education.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Work Schedule
The position offers flexible scheduling to accommodate peak sales periods and special events. Eligible employees will receive health and welfare benefits (subject to a minimum work requirement of 20 hours/week), along with sales bonuses, monthly incentives, and SPIFFs. Additional benefits include employee discounts, paid training, and paid time off for vacations, holidays, bereavement, and jury duty. Training includes certification from the Gemological Institute of America after one year of service. In addition to medical, dental, and vision insurance, Ben Bridge Jeweler provides a 401(k) plan with company matching.
