Job Title: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - Oklahoma Children's Hospital - PRN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Oklahoma Children's Hospital. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive care to patients in a dual role of outpatient and/or inpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform history and physical assessments of patients, ordering appropriate diagnostic studies and correctly interpreting results.
  • Develop, implement, evaluate, and alter the plan of care as needed, maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Provide patient-centered care, facilitating consistent and coordinated care among all members of the healthcare team.
  • Participate in research opportunities to advance the care and treatment of patients.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with physicians, other health professionals, and health-related agencies.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing or Master's in Physician Assistant Services.
  • 3 or more years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in designated specialty preferred.
  • Active RN and APRN license in State of Oklahoma, and some positions may require certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of etiologies, risk factors, pathophysiology, presentation, and epidemiology of medical conditions.
  • High degree of clinical expertise in working with patients with acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Proficiency in procedural skills pertinent to practice area.
