Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Project Coordinator and Estimating Specialist to join our team at AAA Facility Services.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver precise cost and material estimates for commercial electrical projects;
  • Manage project budgets to maintain cost efficiency;
  • Oversee project execution from initiation to completion;
  • Analyze project specifications to establish accurate pricing strategies;
  • Stay current with market prices for electrical materials and labor rates;
  • Create and manage project schedules, timelines, and milestones;
  • Develop comprehensive cost breakdowns and competitive bids;
  • Review and evaluate client requests and bid documents;
  • Possess project management skills, including strong analytical abilities, effective communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail;
  • Ensure accurate project bids and successful execution;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients;
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry standards, codes, and regulations;

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial electrical estimating and project coordination;
  • Deep knowledge of electrical systems, components, and installation techniques;
  • Familiarity with industry standards, codes (e.g., NEC), and regulations;
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings;
  • Accurately estimate costs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors;
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities;
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills;
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Proactive identification of project risks and implementation of mitigation strategies;

Compensation and Benefits
