As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II).
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and Maintain COMSEC Equipment
- Manage COMSEC Materials and Key Management
- Ensure Two-Person Integrity and COMSEC Gatekeeper
- Responsible for Keying Network/Telecommunications Equipment
- Analyze and Investigate Classified Security Issues
- Develop and Implement Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintain Physical Security, Access Controls, and Procedures
- Manage Inventory and Accounting Requirements
- Conduct Routine COMSEC Destruction and Creation of Destruction Reports
- Maintain Records of COMSEC Alternate Personnel
- Conduct Semi-Annual Inventory and Report Results to COR
- Clearance Requirement – TS w/SCI eligibility
- Certification Requirement - DoD 8570 IAT II certification (e.g., Security+ CE)
- 2 years of directly related experience
- Experience with COMSEC policies and procedures
- User experience with the maintenance and operation of common COMSEC devices
- Must have experience with DoD processes and procedures or an equivalent regulatory environment and/or military training
- COMSEC, KMI, and KOAM Experience
- Must be able to lift and transport equipment up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of the following technologies: OSI, TCP/IP, and various layer 2 protocols
- Knowledge of data center/long-haul transport mechanisms, serial data interfaces, cat-X ethernet, and fiber optic cabling
- Experience preparing for and participating in audits and assessments
- General knowledge and experience in Personnel Security, Physical Security, and Industrial Security
- Experience prioritizing and managing workloads
- Have clear written and verbal communication skills
