About the Role

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a highly skilled and trustworthy Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding personnel, property, and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular patrols within and around the facility to ensure the protection of people, assets, and classified information
  • Greet guests and employees, and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
  • Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances to client and/or other security personnel
  • Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms, and act as a first responder in emergency situations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
  • Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance
  • Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations
  • Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site, prior military experience, or a combination of both
  • Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites
