Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing and coordinating extensive valuation and consulting initiatives on local, regional, national, and international scales.
  • Conducting comprehensive research on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
  • Executing detailed analyses of real estate markets across various public and private sectors using recognized methodologies.
  • Recruiting, mentoring, and supervising a team of real estate analysts and certified appraisers.
  • Creating financial models, including discounted cash flow analyses (using Argus and MS Excel), Comparable Property Sales Models, and Construction Cost Models.
  • Independently sourcing relevant data through direct client engagement, including interviews with brokers and property managers.
  • Analyzing industry surveys, benchmarks, and economic and demographic trends.
  • Assisting in the preparation and presentation of analytical findings in a clear and effective manner.
  • Possessing the MAI (Member of the Appraisal Institute) designation and holding a valid, certified general real estate appraisal license.
  • Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management (with a focus on Finance or Real Estate), or a Master’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, or an MBA from an accredited institution.
  • Having a minimum of 10 years of experience in Real Estate Valuation or Consulting.
  • Demonstrating prior experience or educational background in the real estate sector.
  • Exhibiting strong analytical, comprehension, and problem-solving abilities, alongside excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Displaying the capacity to quickly learn new tasks.
  • Demonstrating leadership qualities and a commitment to personal integrity.
  • Effectively prioritizing tasks, managing multiple assignments, and adapting to changing project demands in a collaborative environment.
  • Showing a strong dedication to achieving exceptional results.
  • Experience at a Big 4 or large national firm in a managerial role in real estate valuation and consulting, along with other relevant real estate valuation credentials, is advantageous.
