We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Data Governance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating data accountability and data ownership attestation performed by various stakeholders. They will also establish and maintain data governance and data quality controls in the finance area, including US regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate data accountability and data ownership attestation performed by various stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain data governance and data quality controls in the finance area, including US regulatory reporting.
- Identify risks, associated data controls, drive control operationalization, and evaluate the control results.
- Work across teams to translate regulatory requirements into implementable data controls.
- Sustain an established regulatory reporting data attestation framework.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and control for various financial regulatory reports according to company policy and standards.
- Assist building data-lineage, data quality effectiveness, data reconciliation, and various data quality controls.
- Facilitate project update communications and meetings.
- 7-12 years of experience in data quality, governance, and control of financial regulatory reporting.
- Experience in communicating with technical and business teams regarding periodic compliance on data controls.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working on complex and cross-functional projects and data initiatives.
- Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft applications, Alteryx, Power BI, or SQL.
- Familiarity with major regulatory reports, including FRY-9C, FFIEC 009, FRY-15, FR2052a, FFIEC 002, and FFIEC 019.
