Job Summary

The Patient Access Representative is responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience from registration to discharge. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify patient identity and demographic information
  • Collect and enter accurate insurance and billing information
  • Explain and collect co-payments, deposits, and outstanding balances
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient satisfaction
  • Work collaboratively with clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely registration
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years of customer service and/or data entry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of third-party payers, ICD-9/CPT coding, and medical terminology a plus
