The Agronomy Account Manager Associate at Premier AG Co-Op Inc is primarily focused on acquiring the essential skills required to transition into the Agronomy Account Manager role. Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in comprehensive learning of fundamental agronomy principles related to the cultivation of corn, soybeans, and wheat.
- Familiarize oneself with all product offerings (CPP, CN, Seed), services (CA, TRAX), and technological solutions (TRAX) provided by Premier AG.
- Attain proficiency in TRAX Precision Agriculture tools.
- Responsible for sales of the aforementioned products, services, and technologies to assigned accounts.
- Maintain and enhance grower relationships, ensuring satisfaction with Premier AG.
- Strategically plan and conduct effective sales interactions with growers within the designated trade area.
- Encourage growers to adopt optimal agronomic practices for maximum economic yield.
- Collaborate with your supervisor to establish personal objectives for the annual performance review, focusing on specific and measurable goals for both sales and professional growth.
- Work with your supervisor to create a detailed action plan aimed at boosting sales within the region or territory.
- Provide relevant information to management to support product and market development strategies.
- Communicate service requirements to local branches for accounts, considering delivery schedules, service expectations, and inventory levels for fulfillment.
- Report to your supervisor through weekly summaries and maintain regular communication through at least two weekly interactions.

Qualifications:
- An Associate's Degree or a minimum of four years of experience in agronomy sales; exceptions may be considered based on aptitude or relevant experience.
- A strong willingness to learn, demonstrating excellent initiative and adaptability to various work environments.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to interact effectively with customers, suppliers, colleagues, and management at all levels.
- Demonstrated capacity to quickly and effectively resolve issues.
- Ability to work independently and without direct supervision.
- Familiarity with basic financial concepts applicable to agricultural production.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
- Capability to create and deliver informative product and program presentations.
- Working knowledge of crop production equipment, practices, and industry trends.
Reporting Structure:
The Agronomy Account Manager Associate will report directly to the VP of Agronomy Sales.
