You will use your knowledge to explore new sensor designs, support current products, and improve existing sensor designs. You will also drive understanding of how the sensor interacts with other aspects of the sensing system to provide complete understanding of how material properties impact sensor performance.
You will be responsible for leading multi-functional teams focused on sensor substrate design, organizing and compiling data from disparate streams for analysis and communication, preparing documentation and deliverables, and contributing to cross-functional relationships in an R&D environment.
What Makes You Successful?
To succeed in this role, you will bring materials, particularly metals, knowledge to the forefront to influence sensor design. You should have expertise in using wires for applications, preferably medical device applications, with a strong background in material robustness characterization. You will need to be adept at self-directed projects, managing project timelines, and cross-functional relationships in an R&D environment. Excellent technical writing skills are essential for writing protocols, technical reports, and experimental designs. You must communicate clearly and concisely, participate in teams, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills for effective management of working relationships.
