Job Summary

As a key member of our in-home and community-based programs, you will provide comprehensive support and customized interventions to help children with intellectual/developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges unlock their potential and thrive in their environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide weekly in-home/community-based treatment services focused on addressing maladaptive behavior while incorporating fitness, recreational, and/or sport-related activities to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans with individualized goals to address psychiatric, behavioral, emotional, and social needs in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Facilitate team meetings, provide supervision for Behavioral Assistants, and participate in other collaborative efforts with the team pertaining to services.
Requirements
  • Provisional licensure required: LSW or LAC.
  • Experience providing trauma-informed therapy.
  • Experience working with children with special needs.
  • Ability to work virtually or in-home.
  • Master's Degree in social work, counseling, or related human service field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years direct experience working with youth and families.
  • Valid New Jersey driver's license.
  • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills, demonstrate a high level of cultural competence, and be responsive to the needs of youth and families served.
  • Bi-lingual is a plus.
