Overview

CFG Health Network is seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to provide high-quality mental health services to patients in need. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with patients and a strong understanding of psychiatric principles and practices.

  • Provide a full range of psychiatric services to assigned patients, including assessment, screening, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Prescribe medication to patients as deemed necessary and provide medication management services.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians to discuss treatment plans and progress.
  • Gather and maintain patient information and records, including social and medical history obtained from patients, relatives, and other professionals.
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients in the clinical setting, including assessment, screening, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Analyze and evaluate patient data and test findings to diagnose the nature and extent of mental disorders.
  • Prescribe, direct, and administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians to discuss treatment plans and progress.
  • Subject to on-call responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be licensed as a psychiatrist in the state of New Jersey.
  • Experience in providing services in inpatient/outpatient environments is preferred.
  • Must possess good interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
  • Must be able to interact with institutional staff, medical staff, and the agencies of the court.
