Position Overview

Job Title: Senior IT Asset Management Administrator

Contract Duration: 6 Months with potential for conversion

Compensation: Up to $100,000 upon conversion

Role Responsibilities

The Senior IT Asset Management Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of IT assets within the organization. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough reviews of vendor transactions related to new acquisitions and returns, ensuring accurate record-keeping in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Monitoring inventory levels and initiating procurement for all end-user IT equipment and supplies across various locations.
  • Managing the ticketing process for equipment recovery from terminated employees, collaborating with HR and IT departments.
  • Coordinating the disposal of IT assets in compliance with company policies.
  • Generating customized reports and maintaining Excel documentation related to asset management and CMDB data.
  • Providing support to various IT departments, including Desktop Engineering and Tech Support, as needed.
  • Administering major software licensing portals, ensuring compliance and optimization of software usage.
  • Participating in initiatives aimed at improving IT Asset Management processes.
Required Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in asset management administration.
  • Familiarity with software management tools such as ServiceNow, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, or similar platforms.
Work Environment

This position offers a flexible work environment with a combination of on-site and remote work options.

Additional Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

  • A Bachelor's degree in IT or relevant certifications in ITIL/ITAM.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
