About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Water and Wastewater Business at Stantec. This role will involve designing and executing projects of varying size and complexity, focusing on industrial water and wastewater.

Your Responsibilities

">
  • Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for industrial water and wastewater purposes
  • Create layout drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams for projects using CAD software
  • Lead project coordination meetings with internal and external teams, clients, and vendors
  • Approve and prepare proposals, cost estimates, and project progress evaluations
  • Represent project work in client meetings and cultivate relationships with client organizations
  • Develop project scope, budgets, and design approach for all project sizes
  • Contribute to the development of new electrical design standards and specifications
  • Supervise project resources, setting budgets and schedules

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • Minimum five years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Specialization in water/wastewater facility design
  • Experience with schematic control diagrams, block diagrams, and distribution systems
  • Familiarity with Revit, ETAP, and SKM PowerTools
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) with plans to pursue a PE license
