We are seeking a skilled Preoperative Nurse to join our team at Kingwood Surgery Center. As a valued member of our healthcare family, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patient care areas for procedures
  • Ensure availability of necessary equipment and supplies
  • Conduct thorough physical and psychological assessments
  • Review patient charts for completeness
  • Administer pre-operative medications and intravenous therapy
  • Monitor patients until transfer to the OR
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or higher
  • 1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
  • Active RN license
  • BCLS certification
  • ACLS certification within 30 days
  • PALS certification if required by facility
