Job Summary

ApiTech is seeking a skilled Prototype Assembler to join our manufacturing team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and quality controlling prototypes and special engineering samples.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test new designs, prototypes, and special engineering samples
  • Verify parts and materials according to production drawings and work orders
  • Build assemblies and subassemblies using various hand tools and mechanical devices
  • Assist in maintaining quality production standards by testing continuity and connections using standard testing equipment
  • Perform tests on assembly and verify dimension of parts using magnifying devices and standard measuring instruments
  • Degrease parts at various stages of production using cleaning solutions and equipment
  • Maintain records of work progress and report results to the team
Requirements
  • High School or Equivalent education
  • 0 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly
  • Manual dexterity and basic reading and comprehension skills
  • Verbal communication skills
