We are in search of a highly qualified board-certified Physician to assume a pivotal role as the Associate Vice President, Medical Operations for our Urgent Care Services division. This position is integral in ensuring compliance with professional standards for the physicians within our medical group.
The AVP, Medical Operations for Urgent Care Services will be tasked with:
- Identifying and implementing best practice standards, which includes the formulation of clinical policies, procedures, regulations, and operational methods pertinent to the GoHealth Urgent Care Network.
- Establishing quality benchmarks and initiating programs aimed at process enhancement.
- Providing direct patient care as a scheduled provider for the designated number of hours per pay period as outlined by leadership, balancing 75% administrative duties with 25% clinical responsibilities.
- Contributing to the development and promotion of the GoHealth Network's strategy to enhance visibility and improve the program's reputation among healthcare providers and the community.
- Engaging in strategic and operational planning, as well as the creation of patient education materials and seminars relevant to the GoHealth Urgent Care Network.
- Collaborating closely with the Chief Medical Officer and Market President of the network, along with the operational team, to execute best practice operations across the network.
- Overseeing and working in partnership with Associate Medical Directors and/or Advanced Practitioner Leads in all clinical services for their assigned urgent care centers and geographical area.
- Being primarily accountable for the quality of care and all matters concerning clinical caregivers within their designated region.
BENEFITS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A total of 10 years of experience: Five (5) years of recent clinical practice as a physician, along with five (5) years of supervisory or leadership experience in a medical setting.
- Current Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or a combination of Medicine/Pediatrics.
- Valid Medical Doctor license in the state of Texas.
- Current Federal Drug Enforcement Agency license.
