Design Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team at Actalent. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing subsurface elements using AutoCAD Civil 3D software. Your expertise will be utilized in various areas, including residential development, commercial site development, street improvements, utility infrastructure design, pump and tank design, municipal utility master-planning, and cost estimating.
Key Responsibilities
- Design subsurface elements using AutoCAD Civil 3D software
- Partner with project managers to create designs from conception to completion
- Modify redlined designs as needed
Requirements
- Proficiency in Civil Design, Municipal Designer, and Subsurface projects
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Work Environment
This is a fully on-site position in Fresno, California. You will be working in a large office space with a team of 6 engineers and 2 project managers and 3 interns. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
