The Metaverse Technical Art division is in search of a Technical Artist to enhance our diverse team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of a social User Generated Content (UGC) platform that connects individuals with their interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain comprehensive documentation for internal technologies, tools, and platforms utilized within the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and support teams to ensure the quality, accessibility, and precision of the content you produce.
  • Design, compose, edit, and maintain both technical and artistic process documentation.
  • Create assets, processes, and tools to validate, prototype, and implement new functionalities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Implement runtime logic within a complex real-time environment, considering performance constraints.
  • Prototype, analyze, and optimize custom shaders.
  • Enhance content performance and guide artists and designers on best practices for asset creation, modeling, and texturing.
  • Develop extensive technical knowledge to assist with a variety of technical and artistic tasks, including diagnosing and resolving issues.
  • Produce dynamic and informative playbooks for cross-functional collaborators.
  • Excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in understanding the intricacies of real-time game engines (Unity, Unreal, etc.).
  • Experience with game and real-time profiling and optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in real-time scripting.
  • Familiarity with shader languages (GLSL, ShaderLab, HLSL).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, including engineers and artists.
  • Experience in real-time content creation (characters, environments, VFX, animation, lighting).
  • Strong background in writing technical documentation.
  • Capability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent organizational and visual presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of low-level real-time graphics pipeline concepts.
  • Experience in AR/VR and real-time environments.
  • Passion for emerging technologies and leadership.
  • Self-motivated with a product-oriented mindset.
