About the Role

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our Imaging Team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will conduct diagnostic imaging studies of patients, positioning them for optimal anatomy/pathology demonstration, operating radiation-producing equipment, and preparing patient rooms/equipment/medications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician.
  • Position patients for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operate radiation-producing equipment, and prepare patient rooms/equipment/medications.
  • Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required for certain sites that perform both Radiology and Lab.

Requirements

  • TS - Trade School Graduate (Required)
  • ARRT Radiography(R) - Certifications - American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • RQI Basic managerial experience of coordinating the work of others, Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems
