Job Overview

Oversee the daily functions of manufacturing facilities to guarantee reliability and consistency throughout the production process. This role encompasses Service Shops and significantly influences the team's capacity to meet service, quality, and timeliness goals. The position operates within established policy frameworks, allowing for moderate autonomy while requiring high levels of operational judgment to achieve desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct an operation, business unit, or segment of a manufacturing facility to meet established targets in quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with industry benchmarks and standards.
  • Lead a small to medium-sized team of senior professionals and other staff members.
  • Shape the strategic direction for the area of responsibility, including resource management and policy influence.
  • Analyze internal and external business challenges and propose best practices to enhance products, processes, or services.
  • Make informed decisions and address complex issues in operational, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering domains.
  • Evaluate the quality of information provided and engage stakeholders with relevant inquiries.
  • Propose innovative solutions to challenges beyond established parameters and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Effectively communicate complex concepts and potentially influence others' perspectives on specific topics.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations.
