Production Scheduler

Are you a planning professional looking for a challenging opportunity to grow and develop professionally? We are seeking a Master Scheduler to join our team in Aiken, South Carolina. As a key member of our Operations team, you will work closely with other planners/schedulers to create, modify, and implement the master production schedule to meet customer demand and forecast.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and act upon master schedule messages and resolve exceptions.
  • Communicate forecast inaccuracies to Product Demand to resolve potential customer service problems.
  • Complete rough cut capacity reports, monitor, and adjust workflow at production work centers.
  • Interact with planners/schedulers on reschedules or customer order expedites.
  • Measure service level for master schedule of finished goods and customer orders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the scheduling process and inform supervisor.
  • Coordinate with Production Inventory Control regarding new production introduction.
  • Safety is an integral part of each employee's responsibility. Stop work if continuing is unsafe or will create an unsafe condition.
  • Achieve work assignments from beginning to end with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Two to Four years minimum of planning experience.
  • Experience on a computerized master scheduling system and ability to communicate effectively to various departments.
  • Possess P/C skills, ability to interpret computer reports, good analytical skills, and demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • APICS Certification or affiliation a plus.
  • Must be a great teammate.
  • Acts with utmost integrity, professionalism, and positive attitude.
