The successful candidate will be tasked with executing structural integrity assessments and various engineering computations within the Mechanical and Piping Engineering domain to guarantee exceptional deliverables for our clientele. As a member of our team, the Senior Mechanical Engineer will not only drive the company's success but also prioritize personal development by consistently enhancing engineering and leadership capabilities.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating engineering calculations, mentoring junior engineers, and offering guidance to non-licensed engineering professionals.
  • Conducting structural assessments using advanced analytical software tools.
  • Performing pressure vessel evaluations utilizing specialized software.
  • Executing various Mechanical computations to assess different components such as lower nozzles, wall thickness requirements, and structural bending.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to acquire pricing for specialized supports and piping components.
  • Working alongside other disciplines during integrated project initiatives.
  • Participating in project meetings and liaising with client Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as needed.
  • Providing insights on project timelines and other Mechanical-related tasks assigned by the Mechanical Department Manager.

Requirements for the Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) license is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial consulting engineering.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software.
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards, particularly relevant collections.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to obtain licensure in states outside of the primary location.
