The compensation for this position is set at $22.00 per hour. Below are the details of the role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to precise blending guidelines to ensure accurate material issuance by lot and effectively mix recipes/batches.
  • Maintain thorough inventory records and optimal storage conditions for all ingredients.
  • Utilize a Refractometer to measure and document brix levels accurately.
  • Perform organoleptic evaluations on each batch produced.
  • Employ Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to pick and stage batches following FIFO principles, reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Execute Clean-In-Place (CIP) procedures, including chemical checks and all steps of Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
  • Safely operate all mixing and blending machinery, including forklifts, in accordance with established SOPs.
  • Report any mechanical issues to the Mix Room Manager or Maintenance Staff promptly.
  • Comply with Company Food Safety, Food Quality, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) regulations.
  • Unload tankers as required, following all safety protocols.
  • Adhere to the Mix Room Schedule and complete assigned tasks within the designated time frame.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Mix Room Manager, maintenance personnel, and Quality Control to ensure production standards are consistently met.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings is preferred.
  • Physical capability to stand, bend, twist, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Willingness to learn forklift operation.
  • Ability to adapt to various operating systems, including WMS, Red Zone, DEACON, and others.
