About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Specialist to join our team at Mars Premier Care LLC. As a Caregiver Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing direct care and support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized care and support to individuals, including assistance with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Administer medication according to prescribed guidelines and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times, maintaining a clean and organized living environment.
  • Document individual progress and communicate effectively with team members.

Requirements:

  • Experience or education in social work or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and behavior management techniques.
  • Ability to follow medication administration protocols and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Physical ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for transporting individuals to appointments or activities (mileage reimbursement).
  • First aid and CPR certification is mandatory.
