As a member of our medical telemetry unit, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a talented team of healthcare professionals.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a Registered Nurse RN Med Surg to provide clinical expertise and ensure all patients receive efficient and effective care in a medical telemetry environment. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to:
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of telemetry unit patients
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
- Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
- Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer
HCA Florida Northside Hospital is a 280+ bed facility offering state-of-the-art treatment. We are located in the heart of South Pinellas County, minutes from the pristine Gulf Coast beaches and downtown St. Petersburg, FL. Our facility offers a full range of services, including interventional stroke care, spine care, orthopedics, 24-hour emergency services, cardiac care, and general surgery.
