Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN) to administer prescribed medications, take vital signs, and provide direct patient care.

You will also be responsible for restocking medication inventories, identifying safety hazards, and initiating corrective action as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Administer prescribed medications to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN).
  • Take vital signs or observe patients to detect response to medication, and report reactions.
  • Restock medication inventories.
  • Identify safety hazards and emergency situations and initiate corrective action as appropriate.
