Job Description

As a Network Maintenance Technician III at GCI, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and quality of our telecommunications services. This is an advanced-level position that requires a high degree of technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex maintenance and repair tasks on network facilities, systems, and equipment.
  • Install, test, and repair telecommunications equipment, including analog and digital systems.
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams, resolving issues and answering questions.
  • Collaborate with senior technicians and other teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying new knowledge and skills to improve service quality.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in a technical telecom role or related field.
  • 2+ years of complex related field experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate degree in electronics or relevant field, telecommunications trade school, or equivalent training.
  • Telecommunications experience and relevant certifications.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy. You will be expected to work in a variety of settings, including outdoors in extreme weather conditions, and to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and supplies.
