Special Operations Forces Trainer

Command Holdings is seeking experienced professionals to fulfill the role of Special Operations Forces Trainer. This position is integral to a prominent program dedicated to providing training and exercise support to U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). The selected candidates will be responsible for orchestrating, directing, and managing activities essential for executing all phases of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) for USASOC's training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a SOF Operations & Planning Analyst/Trainer, focusing on operational-level planning and Mission Command.
- Assist in the comprehensive planning, design, execution, control, and evaluation of joint SOF training and exercises.
- Oversee the preparation and management of exercise design and scripting support during all JELC events, including roles in the Joint Exercise Control Group (JECG).
- Develop and articulate operational-level plans and orders in accordance with the Joint Operation Planning Process (JOPP).
- Serve in various capacities such as JECG / TSOC Staff Officer during exercise execution.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in Joint Operation Planning Process, Mission Analysis, and Military Decision Making Process, specifically tailored to SOF planning.
- Conduct thorough research on current global events to integrate relevant scenario injects that facilitate the training audience in achieving exercise objectives.
- Establish and maintain a repository of CONPLANS and OPORDS for future exercise rotations.
- Advise on the integration of commercial off-the-shelf UAS and USG C-UAS TTPs and equipment into training exercises.
- Document observations and prepare after-action reports, including the collection and analysis of lessons learned.
- Create scenarios, injects, and master scenario event lists (MSELs) for practical, tabletop, and vignette training events.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the exercise cell leadership.
- Travel may be required both within the continental U.S. and internationally.
Work Environment:
- Moderate to loud noise levels, typical of business office settings and operational environments.
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
- Capability to function in confined spaces and remote locations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, talk, and hear while performing job duties.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for computer operation.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive in various environments.
Travel Requirements:
- Regular travel is expected, with potential for extended periods in remote overseas locations.

Qualifications:

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Professional proficiency in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
