About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portfolio Accounting Manager to join our team at Pivotal Housing Partners. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial information and analysis to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and accurate financial information to internal stakeholders, including forecasting models, consolidations, and reporting packages.
  • Oversee and manage the accounting functions for stabilized properties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other reports as required.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor budget performance.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training and guidance to enhance team performance and development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from a four-year institution, with at least 3 years of experience.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
