Job Summary

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain radiation safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Collaborate with the Department Director of Radiology and Medical Physicist to ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement education programs to promote radiation safety awareness among staff and patients.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure radiation safety standards are met.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to radiation safety programs.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in a related field.
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT (N) registered.
  • Texas licensed Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist.
  • Certified Health Physicist with three years of experience in radiation safety.
  • 200 hours of classroom and laboratory training in radiation physics, instrumentation, protection, and biology.
  • One year of radiation safety experience under the supervision of an RSO.
