Job Overview

Branch Operations Leadership Opportunity:

As an Operations Branch Leader at W.W. Williams, you will oversee and manage all operational aspects, from leading the team to engaging directly with our clientele. This role reports to the Divisional General Manager and collaborates closely with the Sales and Parts teams to achieve profitable outcomes for the branch. You will be instrumental in guiding the team's initiatives to meet and exceed customer expectations while fostering growth and opportunities for both employees and the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the establishment of long-term objectives and strategies, guiding branch personnel in fulfilling business targets.
  • Ensures a safe working environment for all staff by upholding facility and equipment standards in compliance with OSHA and corporate regulations.
  • Develops the business forecast and operational strategy for the branch.
  • Engages with Corporate and Divisional leadership to evaluate operational performance and recommend necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborates with corporate departments to meet branch objectives, including Human Resources, IT, and Accounting.
  • Addresses and resolves customer and employee concerns to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; or three to five years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Preferred experience in management or leadership roles.
  • Capability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
