Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in East Stroudsburg, PA. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing students referred for possible speech and language needs, providing individual and/or group therapy sessions, and developing individualized education plans.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Therapy
- Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs
- Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders
- Individualized Education Plans
- Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations
- Consultation and Collaboration
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns
- Record Keeping and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload
- Provide reports of a student's progress to parents and/or school staff
- Education and Certification
- Pennsylvania SLP license
- SLP Certification through the Department of Education
- Skills and Attributes
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid organization skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of Pennsylvania Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings
- Professionalism and accountability
