Fairview Health Services is seeking a skilled Environmental Services Aide to join our team at UMMC West Bank location. As an Environmental Services Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in patient rooms, public areas, and other facilities.
  • Perform daily cleaning duties, including emptying trash, restocking supplies, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Assist with special projects and events, such as deep cleaning and disinfection of high-touch areas.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation practices.
