We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiothoracic PCU team at Banner University Medical Center - Tucson. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care to adult post-surgical cardio-thoracic patients, including those recovering from complex surgeries such as heart and lung transplants, thoracotomy, and minimally invasive robot-assisted bypass and lung resection.
Responsibilities- Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
- Formulate a plan of care, including the discharge plan, utilizing assessment data and patient, family, and health team input.
- Initiate a plan of care based on patient-specific needs, assessment data, and the medical plan of care.
- Collaborate with members of the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Arizona.
- Experience in cardiothoracic nursing or critical care nursing.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
