Position Overview: One On One Care is in search of a dedicated caregiver to provide personalized support for a young teen boy. This role requires a compassionate individual who can understand and respond to nonverbal cues and vocalizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with bathing using specialized equipment such as a shower chair and grab bars.
  • Provide verbal prompts and physical assistance for dressing, ensuring the use of appropriate clothing fasteners.
  • Support with toileting needs, including timely changes of pull-ups to maintain hygiene.
  • Encourage and assist with feeding, utilizing hand-over-hand techniques for utensil use.
  • Facilitate mobility within the home and community, offering guidance with a white cane.

Schedule: This position offers flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability.

Qualifications: While PCA or HHA certification is preferred, we are willing to cover the costs for certification training for the right candidate. The training is conducted online at your own pace, and a pay increase will follow upon completion.

Additional Information: We prioritize flexible working hours and will collaborate with you to create a suitable schedule.
