Job Summary

Harmony Roze Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing water pumps and systems, as well as improving existing products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop water pumps and systems using SolidWorks and other design tools.
  • Develop and implement hydraulic systems and components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product design and functionality.
  • Source and procure materials and parts.
  • Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Apply principles of mechanical engineering to design and develop new products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in Mechanical Design with an emphasis in hydraulics.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks and other design tools.
  • Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, pump curves, head, velocity, pressure drop, friction loss, and NPSHr.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with electrical components, construction, and/or maintenance services.
  • Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
