Job Summary

The Clinical Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality psychosocial assessments, individual therapy sessions, group therapy, and family therapy as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team. Strong understanding of community resources, insurance policies, regulatory standards, and legal system issues relevant to outpatient care is crucial.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing to promote positive change in patients' lives.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community resources to enhance patient access to support services.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in psychotherapy, medical crisis intervention, and solution-focused therapy.
  • Proven track record of working effectively with adults experiencing acute mental illness and substance abuse disorders.
  • Licensed by the State of Vermont as a Clinical Social Worker.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in managed-care settings.
  • Familiarity with NASW code of conduct principles, psychosocial assessments, utilization, and case management principles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
Benefits

Rutland Regional Medical Center offers a competitive salary range of $54,600 - $87,000 per year, plus a hiring sign-on bonus of $5,000. We are committed to providing a supportive work environment that fosters growth and development opportunities.
