Job Summary

The Admissions Clerk is a critical member of our team, responsible for coordinating the admission process for patients. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the admission process for patients, including receiving referrals and gathering pertinent information
  • Verify patient information and complete necessary procedures to schedule and admit outpatients
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operations
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Clerical experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Non-healthcare hospitality, hostess, or customer service experience will be considered
  • Current BLS certification, preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
Compensation

The salary for this role is between $17.00 and $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
