Position Overview:
The Safety Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing safety management and support functions for a significant construction project. This role will be focused on a project duration of 1 to 2 years, working closely with the project team to ensure adherence to safety and environmental protocols. The Safety Compliance Manager will collaborate with the Risk Management Department to minimize claims by prioritizing safety throughout the project lifecycle. Reporting to the Regional Safety Director or Manager, this individual will implement the Clune Safety Policy and guide the Clune Safety Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an internal consultant for all business units regarding safety matters.
  • Ensure compliance with Clune safety guidelines, project requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with the project team and Regional Safety Director to develop safety programs that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Ensure all necessary safety documentation is provided to trade partners.
  • Review and maintain all required safety documentation.
  • Provide updated safety statistics to clients as needed.
  • Offer safety guidance during project planning phases.
  • Coordinate and conduct safety training programs for management and employees.
  • Participate in company and project safety meetings.
  • Engage in external training to enhance qualifications and stay current with industry standards.

Education and Experience:

Location-Specific Knowledge:
Knowledge of MOSH and VOSH safety standards is advantageous.
