Job Summary

We are seeking an Operations Specialist to join our team in Winona. This individual will be responsible for operating machinery to load and unload barges, trains, trucks, and moving product. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 7am-3pm, with opportunities for overtime throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct general labor duties, including material handling, cleaning, and machine operation.
  • Clean assigned areas, including sweeping, shoveling, power washing, and scraping.
  • Prepare trucks and tank cars for loading, attach and/or detach flexible loading hoses.
  • Assist departments as needed, including working shift work.
  • Perform general labor duties, including cleaning, sweeping, shoveling, power washing, painting, and scraping.
  • Keep all work areas clean, orderly, and safe.
  • Perform grounds maintenance, including snow removal and cleaning up material spills.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks, including lubrication of pumps, valves, and loading arms.
  • Inspect in-use equipment for seeps and leaks of process equipment.
  • Assist others in preparation to unload trucks and railcars, which may require sampling, loosening large nuts, opening hatches, and attaching and/or detaching flexible hoses.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Knowledge of production and/or operations.
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
