Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic, preventive, restorative, and minor surgical procedures within the scope of the dental practice act.
Develop treatment plans and maintain treatment records in accordance with the dental practice act.
Coordinate and direct the clinical portion of dental services provided by the department.
Monitor quality of care to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
Requirements:
Licensure as a Dentist in accordance with Chapter 466, Florida Statutes.
Ability to weigh relative costs and benefits of potential actions.
Possesses problem-solving and analytical skills.
Communicates effectively in writing and speaking.
Knowledge of the principles and processes of strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and behavioral competencies.
