Physician - Primary Care Specialist

Premise Health is seeking a highly skilled Physician to provide primary care services to our employer-based direct care clinic in Fort Smith, AR. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to our clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide episodic, preventive, and acute healthcare services to patients, including conducting histories and physical examinations, prescribing medications and medical treatments, and developing treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
- May provide occupational health services, such as post-offer physicals, occupational surveillance exams, medical monitoring, return to work exams, and Worker's Compensation medical guidance.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of medical care and monitor progress of patients, participating in the development of annual health center goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic medical record software.
- Formulate and administer health programs as needed, and provide referrals to appropriate medical resources or specialties.
- Graduate of an accredited medical school.
- At least three years of post-residency clinical experience.
- Experience in a primary care, urgent care, or emergency room setting, with knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state within which the site is located.
- Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Primary Care, or Emergency Medicine by the AOA or ABMS, or Board Eligible in aforementioned practice areas.
- Current state and federal DEA certification, and current Certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for healthcare providers.
- Knowledge and experience with electronic medical records.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations.
